01How paying works
CalmStamp’s first mock interview and three drills are free. After that you buy a pack once; there is no subscription and nothing renews.
| Pack | Price (VAT included) | Full interviews | Drills |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prep | GH₵149 | 4 | 20 |
| Full Prep | GH₵299 | 10 | 60 |
| Top-up | GH₵79 | 3 | 15 |
You pay through Paystack by MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card. The price you see is the price you pay; we add no fees. Your credits appear as soon as Paystack confirms the payment, and we email you a receipt.
A credit is used when an interview or drill actually starts. Credits last 6 months from purchase (183 days), and the oldest are used first.
02Your 7-day right to cancel
If you haven’t used any credit from a pack, you may cancel it within 7 days of buying it, for any reason, and get all your money back. This is your right under section 49 of the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), and nothing in our terms limits it.
The right ends for a pack once you start an interview or drill that uses one of its credits, because at that point you have asked us to begin the service (Act 772, s.49(4)(d)). We tell you this at checkout. From then on, the payment for that pack is final and the rest of this policy applies.
To cancel, email support@calmstamp.com from your account’s email address within the 7 days, with the payment reference from your receipt, or simply the words “cancel my pack”. You don’t need to give a reason.
03When payments are final
Outside the 7-day right and the cases in clause 4, payments are final. This includes credits you didn’t use before they expired, a change of plans, a cancelled or rescheduled embassy appointment, and the result of your real visa interview, whatever it is.
We say this plainly because every interview uses real computing costs the moment it starts. Please try the free mock interview first: it is the same officer and the same debrief.
04When we put it right
Whatever the date, we will make it right if:
- a session fails because of a fault on our side, for example the officer disconnects and can’t reconnect, or the debrief can’t be produced: we restore the credit, or refund its share of the pack if you prefer;
- you were charged more than once for the same pack: we refund the extra payments in full;
- you paid and didn’t receive your credits within a day: we add them, or refund you in full if you prefer;
- we close your account without fault on your part, or change CalmStamp in a way that materially reduces what your pack gives you: we refund the unused part.
Problems on your side, such as a weak connection, a muted microphone or leaving the window early, don’t count as our fault, but tell us anyway: if the session clearly never got going, we will usually restore the credit.
Please tell us within 14 days of the problem, so we can check our records.
05How refunds are paid
We send refunds within 3 working days of agreeing them, through Paystack, to the same mobile money wallet or card you paid with. Mobile money refunds usually arrive within a few days; card refunds can take up to 10 working days to appear, depending on your bank. We refund the full amount you paid, including VAT.
When a pack is refunded, its credits are removed from your account. If some credits were already used (in the cases in clause 4), we refund the unused share, pro rata.
If you ask your bank or mobile money provider to reverse a payment instead of contacting us, we may pause the account’s paid credits while the dispute is open. Please contact us first; it is almost always faster.
06Payment security
Payments are processed by Paystack, which is licensed by the Bank of Ghana and certified to the payment card industry’s security standard (PCI DSS). We never see or store your full card number, CVV or mobile money PIN. We only receive the result of the payment, its amount, reference and channel, and we check every payment directly with Paystack before adding credits.
07Questions and complaints
Email support@calmstamp.com. We acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days. If you’re not satisfied, see clause 14 of our Terms of service on disputes. These rules sit alongside your rights under Ghanaian law and never reduce them.
